Apr 29, 2012 —
Ankara (Turkey) - Canadian Embassy announced the closure of the Visa and Immigration Section in Tehran, with instant effect.
All the Visa processing related activities would now be carried from the Canadian Embassy at Ankara, which includes both Temporary Resident applications and Permanent Resident applications. The Ankara visa office has already been handling the applications from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and Turkmenistan.
This action will not slow down the visa processing for Irani aspirants, as the visa offices are globally connected through Global Case Management System (GCMS).
